Career Excellence
1. The Philippines
Master Shishir grew up on hectares of land including a mountain, a turtle farm and learning Sport Arnis as a child. Master Shishir is one of 2 Grand Masters in Arnis and worked with the President in 2009 to official make it the Sport of the Philippines.
2. Yoga was in his blood
Introduction To Collegiate Coaching
Yoga was just a way of life. The youngest of 9 children, Master Shishir learned from his older siblings.
3. India and the Guru
Master Shishir travelled to India as a young 19-year-old man. He followed a Guru with 600 men standing up for human rights. Unfortunately, they were all jailed for 9 months. Master Shishir learned gratefulness, kindness and how to meditate for 12 hours a day. Many of his friends died.
4. Canada- the Early Years
Master Shishir travels to Canada.
He builds his first indoor studio on Kingsway. Teaches Sports Arnis, Yoga, Kickboxing and all forms of Martial Arts.
5. Michelangelo - Mutant Ninja Turtles
Master Shishir played many roles after this
It is the 90's and 3 of Master Shishir's friends are cast as the Mutant Ninja Turtles. Master goes for his addition and does a crazy display of Arnis, a back flip and yells, "Cowabunga!" He gets to role as Michelangelo and MNT keeps the Cowabunga saying alive.
6. Academies in 4 Countries
Master Shishir has academies in 4 countries, Canada, USA, Philippines and Brazil. He is one of 2 Grand Masters in the World for Sport Arnis. He is working hard to get Sport Arnis into the Olympics.
